I'm Tasmia Sultana. I lay out books, catalogues, lookbooks and company documents in Adobe InDesign, on paragraph styles and parent pages, so every file stays easy to edit after it leaves me.
Interior layout for a German-language medical study book, with tables, diagrams and colour-coded summaries on every spread.
A 16-page A4 furniture catalogue in six chapters, from the living room to a fabric and colour guide.
A 16-page trade catalogue of bolts, screws, nuts and washers, with product cards filled by Data Merge and engineering reference tables at the back.
A 16-page hardware catalogue built once and produced in English, German and French from one spreadsheet per language.
A 20-page A4 travel magazine: contents, editor's letter, six destination features, an essay and a page of travel habits.
An 8-page, 210 mm square company profile for a fictional infrastructure consultancy, checked against a preflight list before export.
A 22-page A4 jewellery lookbook, with a wholesale line sheet and trade terms at the back.
A 16-page A4 course workbook: planning pages, learning outcomes, goal setting, daily worksheets and reading notes.
A 22-page A4 cookbook where the photographs carry the colour and a strict recipe template keeps every page easy to cook from.
A 10-page A4 health and wellness eBook: fitness, nutrition, mental wellness, a 7-day reset plan, sleep, daily habits and a habit tracker.
A 4-page A4 capability statement for a fictional environmental engineering firm bidding on federal, state and municipal work.
When every page carries different tables, photographs or languages, consistency comes from the grid, the style sheet and a little restraint.
I'm Tasmia Sultana, an independent layout designer in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I work on long documents: books, catalogues, lookbooks, company profiles and capability statements, where structure, readability and production accuracy matter.
I have done freelance InDesign work since 2023. Medibook on this site is client work; the other pieces are self-initiated briefs, built to the same standard: named styles, parent pages and a preflight check before export.
Before design, I studied philosophy at the University of Dhaka (BA and MA) and trained in professional graphic design at CodersTrust Bangladesh.
Multi-page documents built from your masters, grids and Figma or InDesign specs: catalogues, brochures, company profiles and multilingual editions. White-label; I never contact your clients.
Catalogues and line sheets on paragraph styles and parent pages, with Data Merge from your spreadsheet where it fits, so next season is an update, not a re-layout.
Books, magazines, workbooks and eBooks from a Word manuscript to a print-ready PDF. English, with German and French typesetting.
You send the content, page count, languages, deadline and any brand files. I reply with my questions in one list, then a fixed price.
I set up the page size, grid, parent pages and styles first, and send two sample spreads for approval.
The full document, built on those styles. Your changes come back to me as one list per round.
A print-ready PDF to your printer's specification, and the packaged InDesign file with links and a font list.
A print-ready PDF exported to your printer's specification, with bleed and crop marks, and the packaged InDesign folder: the .indd file, an IDML copy, the linked images and a font list. Your own team can edit it later.
Yes. If you have an approved design in InDesign or Figma, I lay out the remaining pages from your masters and styles. Your client never hears from me.
English, German and French. The text comes from your files; I set it, I don't translate it.
Product names, codes, sizes and prices live in a spreadsheet. The layout is built once with fixed product cards, and the data flows in. When prices change, the spreadsheet changes and the pages are rebuilt instead of retyped.
Two rounds are included. Each round comes back as one consolidated list, so nothing gets lost between messages. Further rounds are charged by the hour.
A fixed price per project, based on page count, the number of languages and how much the content changes from page to page. Payment is 50% to book the dates and 50% before the final files.
